DIY Autumn crafts
We can't ignore it anymore. Autumn has set in and it's getting colder and colder. Since it is raining more and more, we went back home and did some crafts.
This time we made autumn crafts. Simple activities to do but that doesn't make them any less fun. We made a memory and again something for the birds.

DIY autumn crafts Pine Cone Birds
Since we have a garden full of birds, we often hang up something nice for the birds. In a nest box in the garden we have a couple of great tits every year and they also stay in the garden during the winter. For their regular snack spot we made pine cones filled with bird food.
What you need?
- Large pine cones (I bought them, with hook, at Action)
- A jar of peanut butter
- A spoonful
- bird food
- A plate or something that can be smudged on
This autumn craft is super simple. Put the pine cone somewhere where it can get dirty. Let your child fill the pine cone with peanut butter and bird food.
Brass around is allowed and even required. When it is nice and full, attach a ribbon to the pine cone and hang it up in the garden.
DIY autumn crafts; memory of oak shells
I came across this activity at Mamascrapelle. She made a memory game out of oak caps. Make sure you have an even number of egg cups and paint them, per set, a pretty color.
Let it dry and play.
Super fun anyway!?
Have you also made fun autumn crafts? Do you have any tips?
